Bonagia

Valderice also comprises the little harbour of Bonagia.

The ancient tonnara (tuna factory) is certainly worth a visit.
The 15th century tower houses a theme museum of fìshing and the tuna industry. The old marfaraggiu (where tuna were unloaded) still remains.

There is also the wide court with the pretty little church named after Saint Anthony of Padua (Sant'Antonio da Padova), the protector of the tonnara. The traditional boats used for the mattanza (the traditional way of catching tuna), called muciare, can stili be seen on the shore.
